TELFAR celebrated the opening of its first permanent store in SoHo, New York City, with a lively event that embodied its inclusive and community-focused brand. The store featured unique elements like Telfar TV and lounge spaces, inviting visitors to shop and hang out. Notable attendees included Lil Kim, Teezo Touchdown, and Muni Long, who joined the 2000 fans in celebrating the milestone. The festive event included live performances and opportunities to explore Telfarβs apparel and accessories, including a launch of the long awaited size β the Smedium Shopping Bag, a size fans have asked for in the comment section of every post. The store aims to be both a retail space and a cultural hub, hosting events to deepen its engagement with the Telfar community.
Project Details
This project was a heavy feat involving the cross-collaboration of many departments throughout the company and included hiring a new team to continue the retail store. I participated in the preparation of the grand opening event though back of house organization, fitting for VIP talent, and styling the retail staff. β
