Rainbow is a budget-friendly apparel chain known for trendy, accessible fashion. In partnership with TELFAR, the two brands staged a surprise pop-up in Downtown Brooklyn that drew thousands of fans with just two days’ notice. Over 3,500 TELFAR bags — nicknamed “Bushwick Birkins” — were available in a range of sizes and colors, selling out within hours as customers lined up in the rain. The event combined live performances, voguing dancers, and coverage on TelfarTV, blending retail with community celebration and cultural spectacle.
MY CONTRIBUTION
I supported the TELFAR x Rainbow pop-up by preparing garments for transport, coordinating fittings, and styling hosts, talent, DJs, and performers involved in the event. My contributions helped ensure smooth style-outs and presentation throughout the celebration, bringing an e-commerce-focused brand experience into a vibrant, real-world setting. The result was a lively and immersive event that gave fans a direct glimpse into the TELFAR world.
