For Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour, she returned to the stage with Act II following her Renaissance album and tour. During the New York leg of the tour, Beyoncé debuted a custom crystallized TELFAR look that fused Western Americana with the brand’s signature logo and cut out denim aesthetic. This collaboration aligned seamlessly with the tour’s themes of reclaiming the Black cowboy narrative, celebrating American identity and history, and asserting the place of Black artists within country music.
MY CONTRIBUTION
This project involved creating custom TELFAR garments for Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour, aligning with the show’s themes of community, heritage, and cultural storytelling. I assisted with styling logistics, coordinating fittings, and preparing garments for delivery to Beyoncé’s team for rehearsals, fittings, and the final performance. My contributions supported the successful debut of TELFAR’s custom denim ensemble during the New York leg of the tour
